Parent and child groups for children up to 3 years old
These groups focus on supporting parents with babies and young children in a nurturing environment. In a peaceful atmosphere, parents and children can play and talk to one another. Surrounded by simple toys made of natural materials, the children play in cosy home corners and little dens. In each session, there is time for play and craft activity. In circle time we listen to a story, sing familiar nursery rhymes and seasonal songs of childhood. Finally, we share a snack of freshly baked food before spending some time in the garden.
Each session has its own rhythmic and seasonal quality which helps foster a sense of wonder in the eyes of the child.

Woodmice Forest Toddler Group
This parent and toddler group, for children aged 2-4 years, takes place year round entirely outdoors. We meet Thursday mornings (9.30am-11.30am) and Fridays (10am-12pm) at Wandlebury Country Park, and will soon begin a third group at Fulbourn Nature Reserve. A chance to enjoy time with your children in wild outdoor spaces, to experience the elements and seasonal changes through the year, with a simple structure of woodland walk, forest picnic and play, and an outdoor ringtime. There’s plenty of time to chat and make new friends and all are very welcome.
