

The Cambridge Steiner School was founded with an understanding of Rudolf Steiner’s principles of education and social organisation. As such, there is no head teacher or hierarchical structure and responsibility for the school is undertaken by the College of Teachers supported by a School Council.
Cambridge Steiner School has a Council consisting of teachers and trustees, some of them mandate holders, whose aim is to involve the entire community of parents and friends in the successful upkeep of the school. All parents at the school are encouraged to join a mandate group, bringing their skills and interests where they are most needed. The mandate groups are as follows:
