Volunteer/Internship Position - Classroom Assistant: September 2018 - July 2019

We are looking for a volunteer Classroom Assistant to assist in Class 3 (nine year old children) starting Monday 3 September to Friday 12 July 2019. Hours will be 25 - 27.5 per week during term time. Free board and lodging in a delightful part of Cambridge 15 minutes walk from the centre.

Part-time Kindergarten Assistants (two positions- 19 hours/week and 16.5 hours/week)
We are looking for Part-time Kindergarten Assistants (two positions- 19 hours/week and 16.5 hours/week), preferably with Steiner Waldorf Kindergarten experience, to assist the Kindergarten Teacher(s). The ideal candidates for these roles should have a proven ability to relate to and inspire children, and the capacity to communicate and cooperate well with colleagues and parents.  These posts will be based at our School premises in Fulbourn, to begin Autumn Term 2018.  The successful candidates will be joining us in our kindergartens which cater for children from 3 to 6 years. Our Early Childhood setting has recently been assessed as outstanding by the School Inspection Service (SIS). “The overall effectiveness of provision in the kindergarten, including for children in the EYFS and for five and six year-olds, is outstanding and gives children an excellent start to their education” (SIS Report June 2018).

Resource Manager/Coordinator (Full-time)
We are currently looking to recruit a Resource Manager/Coordinator.  This is a key role in the School Management Team, and works closely with all staff and the Board of Trustees, advising on key issues, as needed. The post is responsible for all the business functions within the school, acts as a main point of contact and plays a central role in the day-to-day life of the School.  As well as oversight of the building and facilities, the role also includes HR and finance responsibilities. The Resource Manager/Coordinator will act as line manager to various other roles in the School, promoting positive team working, collaborating with other staff members, volunteers and trustees in delivery of an excellent educational service.
Our school follows the Steiner Waldorf curriculum which emphasises the development of the whole child intellectually, emotionally and socially. •         Are you friendly and professional with a good sense of humour and a down-to-earth demeanour, willing to be surrounded by friendly, respectful, supportive people, who are driven by the same passion for quality, inclusion and meaning in everything they do?
•         Can you work and make strategic and operational decisions independently and also in conjunction with other members of a management team? Do you have experience of working within an educational context or perhaps even have a familiarity with principles of Steiner Education?
•         Are you experienced at working at senior level and prepared to plan, lead, support, inspire, constructively challenge and improve your own performance and that of others, including volunteers?
•         Do you have a management/business degree or equivalent related professional qualification, preferably, School Business Manager/Resource Manager specific qualification? 
•         Do you have a strong managerial, administrative, HR and financial background?
